  • Require pelvic and thighs pressure distribution due to asymmetric sitting posture
  • Have changing postural needs over time
  • Require a high degree of pelvic stability and specific contouring

Functional

  • Positioning base primarily accommodates lack of hip flexion up to 20° but due to its innovative positioning base it can support ruling out other associated deformities as pelvic obliquity, windsweeping, hip abduction, hip internal rotation with tight hamstrings and even lack of hip extension.
  • Strategic positioning base, pads and wedges offer complete customisations on-the-spot for a perfect fit for the user
  • Bevelled front edge allow for knee contractures

Features

On-the-Spot Customisations

Strategic positioning base offers on-the-spot customizations to accommodate even the most complex postural needs.

Achieve Asymmetric Limited Hip Flexion

Asymmetric limited hip flexion is achieved by removing one or more frontal wedges from that side, depending on the angle required.

Accommodate Limited Hip Flexion & Hip Extension

Lack of hip flexion on one side with lap of hip extension on the other is now possible to be compensated but changing the wedges from one side to the other. If pelvic obliquity is present, positioning pads provided with the cushion must be adjusted as well.

Achieve Symmetric Limited Hip Flexion

Symmetric limited hip flexion is achieved by removing one or more frontal wedges from both sides, depending on the angle required.

Address Hip Abduction

If hip abduction needs to be addressed, the frontal segments of the cushion can be pulled apart and locked in place with an additional wedge (provided).

Accommodate Moderate Windsweeping

If a moderate windsweeping needs to be accommodated the frontal segments of the cushion can be sightly angled.

Accommodate Pelvic Obliquity

If pelvic obliquity needs to be accommodated, foam segments can be added on the right or left side at the rear of the cushion to build up the pelvis on one side.
